I watched a man give a flower to his son at Delphi
, 2019, string, laser prints, vellum, dimensions variable

A photograph I took of my own navel in front of the the Omphalos at the ancient site Delphi, veiled by yellow vellum and a knotted yellow string. The Omphalos/Delphi was deemed to be the navel of the world by Zeus. The umbilical cord was a recurring pattern/concept during my stay in Athens, as I considered familial ties and generational histories.
