​Everything leans on everything else, 2019, a variety of found orchard poles, 8' x 8' x 3'.

The foundation of The water sits… was finding a pack of pick-up-sticks at the landfill and realizing that the game is a clear example of how our society, our earth, our world, is connected to everything and is affected by everything. If we truly succeed in taking one stick away from the rest without moving the others then we are failing ourselves and everyone/everything around us. These larger-than-life pick-up-sticks are made mostly from found tree stakes (large wooden poles dunked in chemicals), whose sole job is to be leaned on by growing trees.
